Balaji Aluminium Extrusions Pvt. Ltd. is an IATF 16949-certified aluminium extrusion manufacturer with an annual capacity of 7,200 MT. Two PLC-controlled presses, in-house billet casting, anodizing, powder coating, and cold drawing — under one roof. Serving automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, solar, defence, and export markets across North America, Europe, and Africa.
Casting Foundry
Billets are cast in-house through group company Bhagwati Recycling Pvt. Ltd., giving complete control over alloy chemistry from melt to finished profile. The foundry runs a melting furnace with a Hot Top casting machine, homogenizing furnace, and ultrasonic billet testing equipment.
Every heat is verified on an in-house optical emission spectrometer before casting. Alloys cast and extruded: 6060, 6061, 6063, 6082, 6005, and 6023 (free-machining automotive alloy). Each billet batch carries QR-coded identification, enabling heat-to-profile traceability — a core requirement for automotive and export customers.
Extrusion Facility
Two PLC-based extrusion presses cover section weights from light architectural profiles to heavy structural and automotive extrusions. The 1,450 MT press is a front-loading design fitted with a servo motor-driven triple-head puller, holding tight dimensional tolerances on complex, thin-wall automotive profiles.
Profiles are manufactured to EN 755 and ASTM B221 dimensional and mechanical requirements, supporting export programs in North America and Europe. Process parameters — billet temperature, ram speed, exit temperature — are monitored and logged on every run, supporting PPAP and process capability documentation for automotive programs.
Metal Finishing
Complete surface finishing in-house — eliminating third-party handling and lead time. The PLC-automated anodizing plant is supported by a fully equipped laboratory that validates film thickness and seal quality on every batch.
The powder coating line handles a wide range of RAL shades and textures. Both lines finish profiles up to 6 metres in length under documented ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 process controls.
Product Development
A dedicated NPD team handles profile design, die development, and feasibility review for new programs. Die simulation software validates metal flow, pressure distribution, and die deflection before tooling is cut — reducing die trials and compressing development lead time for complex automotive and structural sections.
The team supports customer APQP timelines with sample submission and dimensional reports.
Precision Processing
Integrated cold drawing delivers tolerances and surface finishes beyond standard extrusion capability. Customers requiring near-net-shape, close-tolerance sections — common in automotive, medical, and precision engineering applications — get finished material from a single facility with no intermediate processors in the chain.
