Century Aluminum partners on new U.S. smelter boosting future supply – 27 January 2026
In a major industry development, Century Aluminum agreed to acquire a 40% stake in a new primary aluminium smelter project in Oklahoma in partnership with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), marking the first new U.S. aluminium smelter in nearly five decades and potentially boosting future domestic supply.
